Armed Security Officer

"Armed security officer" means a natural person employed to (i) safeguard and protect persons and property or (ii) deter theft, loss, or concealment of any tangible or intangible personal property on the premises he is contracted to protect, and who carries or has access to a firearm in the performance of his duties.

Requirements:

Completion of the 01E: Security Officer Core Subjects course is mandatory. (That is an additional purchase. It is NOT included with this course purchase.)

In addition to the above requirement, D&D's Armed Security Officer/Courier program requires an additional 32 hours of classes (for a total of 50):

  • 05E: Armed Security Officer Arrest Authority - 8 hours
  • 075E: Security Officer Handgun - 24 hours
